Memorial website in the memory of your loved one

This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Scott Perrin who was born in Arizona on August 04, 1975 and passed away on April 12, 2008 at the age of 32.  He fought bravely against Cystic Fibrosis for many years.  He chose to live fully despite his illness rather than to learn to live with his illness. He shared his medical challenges with few people not because he was scared or ashamed of it, but because he wanted to be treated like everyone else in the room and refused to have anyone feel sorry for him.

The number of lives Scott touched are too great to be counted. His charm, passion for life, and endless sense of humor allowed him to establish a depth of relationship in a very short amount of time with people in various situations.

Scott believed in living life to the fullest.  He taught those around him should be direct - hiding your thoughts and feelings will get you nowhere; to care about those that could not care for themselves – specifically animals and children; to never take life too seriously and always find ways to laugh; and to live life with passion and integrity. Most importantly, to live each day to the fullest because life can be short and unpredictable. Scott has lived more in the short time he was on this earth than most people live in an entire lifetime. He has developed friendships that will last an eternity; he has been a teacher to many of his family and friends who have adapted strength and persistence from him, he found a career in something he loved and excelled at, he helped numerous stray animals find safety, and he has developed a legacy for himself through his bright eyes, quick smile and contagious laugh that will ensure he lives in our hearts forever. His only regret was that his doctor would not let him do the fighter pilot for a day school.

If Scott could give one last message to the world, it would be to take time for the people and experiences that are important in your life; and to protect and love those creatures that are unable to care for themselves, and live everyday as though it is your last. After all, life is not about the number of breaths you take, but the moments that take your breath away.

He will forever live within each of us.
